🧺 Before You Buy Another Craft Supply… Open This.

September is our Creative Reset 🍂

Before we tumble headfirst into fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all the wonderful making that comes with them, I thought September could be something a little different.

This month, we're going to rediscover what we already have.

Open the drawers. Dig through the bins. Pull out the papers you've been saving, the scraps you couldn't throw away, the forgotten supplies, and the odd little bits and pieces you've collected along the way.

To make it fun, I've created a September Salvage Hunt a creative scavenger hunt designed to help you shop your own stash, look at your supplies with fresh eyes, and maybe finally use a few of those things you've been saving for “someday.”

And because I can't send you into September completely empty-handed, I've tucked a few newsletter-exclusive graphics and goodies into this month's emails, too. These won't be available anywhere else.

Think of September as our chance to reset, rediscover, and make something wonderful from what we already have—before the whirlwind of holiday creativity begins.

Let's go see what's hiding in that stash. ❤️

This is actually why I created Stash Genie…

One of my favorite ways to “shop my stash” is with Stash Genie; and honestly, this is the whole reason I created it in the first place. I wanted something that could help me see new possibilities in the supplies I already own. I’ll pull together a pile of papers, scraps, fabric, ribbon, ephemera, stickers, odd little bits and whatever else I’ve forgotten about, take a quick photo, and upload it into Stash Genie. From there, Stash Genie looks at what I actually have and helps me come up with ideas for what I could make with it. Instead of starting with “What do I need to buy?” we start with “Look at all this stuff I already have, What can I make with it?” That little shift is really the heart of Stash Genie: you don’t necessarily need more supplies. Sometimes you just need help seeing the possibilities hiding in the ones you already own.

🎃 Featured Freebie: Let’s Go Pumpkin Picking!

I know it might be a little early for pumpkin picking, but is it ever really too early to start dreaming about fall? This month’s featured freebie is a four-part Pumpkin Picking graphics collection, filled with cozy autumn goodness to tuck away for the season ahead. Whether you’re already ready for pumpkins, cider, crisp mornings and trips to the pumpkin patch, or you just want to have everything ready when fall officially arrives, download these graphics now and save them for your autumn journals, tags, pockets, collages and creative projects. Consider this our little head start on all the wonderful fall making that’s just around the corner! 🍂🎃

Inside My Journal: A Master Board Book ✂️

I've started something new; a 12×12 master board book made entirely from scraps! I picked up a sketchbook with thick, tag-board-style paper and have been covering them with all those tiny strips, offcuts and odds and ends I've saved but never quite knew what to do with. I've made a couple of neutral boards that will make great backgrounds, plus a wonderfully colorful one using leftover scraps from the journals I made for my niece and nephew this summer. Eventually, I'll cut pieces from these pages to make tags, belly bands, pockets and more. It's easy, relaxing, and such a great way to turn the tiniest pieces of your stash into something you'll actually use!

Print What You Want, When You Want It

Have you ever sat down with a precious hour to create, only to realize you're missing the one thing you need to finish your page?

Maybe it's the perfect sticker. Maybe it's a vintage label. Maybe it's a pocket, tag, or piece of ephemera that would tie everything together.

So you stop creating and start searching.

You dig through drawers. You browse online shops. You add things to your cart. You wait for shipping. And somewhere along the way, the creative spark that brought you to your craft table starts to fade.

That's exactly why I created StashGenie.

Instead of buying more supplies you'll eventually store away and forget, StashGenie helps you create exactly what you need in the moment.

Need a sheet of strawberry-themed labels? Done.

Vintage Paris ephemera? Done.

A set of hot air balloons for your Sisterhood Shuffle page? Done.

Because your creativity shouldn't have to wait for the mail.

Create Supplies as Unique as Your Projects

One of the things I love most about StashGenie is that no two creators work the same way and no two journals should look the same.

When you create with StashGenie, you're not choosing from the same clip art packs everyone else is using. You're creating pieces designed specifically for your project, your style, and your imagination.

Want cottagecore mushrooms? Victorian butterflies? Steampunk ladies? Vintage recipe cards? Coffee-loving Strawberry Shortcake stickers?

Create them. Print them. Use them.

Your Printer Is Your New Favorite Craft Supply

Think about how much money we spend collecting supplies "just in case" we need them someday.

With StashGenie, you can create and print what you need when inspiration strikes. No waiting. No hunting. No buying another pack because it contains one image you like.

Just open StashGenie, describe what you're looking for, and print your creations right from home.

Less searching. More creating. More finishing projects. More joy.

Because the best craft supply isn't the one collecting dust on a shelf—it's the one that helps you create something beautiful today.
